The opportunity to make your opinion heard is limited, with submissions closing on October 7. To make a submission, go to the NSW Planning Portal here, scroll to the bottom and click the Make a Submission button.

No one expects you to be a planning expert. The Council and other planning experts will be making very detailed technical submissions on all the issues, so you don’t need to if that's not your area of expertise. You can just mention the issues that concern you and why, so you can keep it short, sharp and to the point. To help you with points you may want to make in your submission, as well as the information provided on the webpages for individual areas in the NSW Govt Proposal section, we are continually updating the Major Issues of Concern page. Please DON'T simply copy and paste from this. We ask you to put your specific concerns in your own words, so your submission doesn't get dismissed as a duplicate submission.

Please get your family, neighbours and friends to make submissions. Sadly it is likely to be the number of submissions rather than the content or quality of arguments in them, together with political pressure, which may influence the NSW Government to take notice. Anyone and everyone can make submissions.

Continue to make your feelings known on social media and keep posting – the NSW Government closely tracks social media and the sentiments being expressed. It hasn’t gone too well for the government so far, as the posts to date have been overwhelmingly negative about the announcement – and that’s just from people who like Chris Minns and follow him on Instagram!. We are coming up to an election and we need to keep that pressure up so that it risks becoming an election issue. Keep posting and replying!

These rezoning proposals are an existential threat to the character and charm of Woollahra and will impact everyone living here.  Please help!
